The MYSA, the oldest model yacht club in the country - was established in 1876 and the London Model Yacht Club in 1884.
The club has stood the test of time and celebrated its 125 years jubilee in 2001 and is enjoying a steady increase in membership.
The club focuses on the racing of radio controlled 10-Rater & Laser model yachts.  It not only has one of the most modern 10-Rater fleets in the country, but also has a collection of vintage and classic yachts, some radio controlled and some vane system.
Members and enthusiasts meet on Sundays at the Round Pond at 11 am to sail their craft and compete in a number races, for different class of craft.
