Finsbury Circus Park
In the north of the garden the well-manicured lawns give way to a snaked bed planted with colourful bedding. Shrub borders planted with camelias, bamboos and Japanese aralia (fatsia japonica) sit under the canopy of the magnificent London plane trees (platanus hispanica). The garden also contains the oldest specimen of the pagoda tree, sophora japonica.
Finsbury Circus is home to the City's only bowling green, constructed here in 1925. Visitors can enjoy open air summer jazz during the City of London Festival.
